Digital Marketing Executive

We are working with a prestigious client who due to their continuous growth they are expanding their team and are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive.

This is a full-time position based in their Solihull Office although some National travel may be required. The Digital Marketing Executive will report to the Marketing Manager.

Job purpose

•To assist the Marketing Manager in implementing the digital marketing strategy for Our client and its individual companies within the group.

•Develop and execute effective digital marketing campaigns to engage with and increase, referring vet and client bases.

•Drive quality and consistency across the group in all areas of digital marketing.

•Assist with managing the digital marketing budget, track and report ROI.

•Provide digital marketing support for companies within the group as and when required.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

•Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, key digital marketing activities and manage social media channels for the group.

•Take ownership of the social media calendar and digital marketing plan for practices within the group.

•Audit existing digital marketing activity and use results to build on client and referring and primary vet base.

•Update and continually monitor social media channels for practices across the group.

•Update website content for our client and its companies as and when required.

•Work with the agency web teams to maintain and continuously improve our websites, project managing new websites when necessary.

•Oversee Pay per Click campaigns and Search Engine Optimisation in conjunction with the web agencies.

•Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the group including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.

•Liaise with internal team members and individual companies to generate content.

•Provide advice and assistance to each company on its digital marketing plan at the appropriate level.

•Share best practice between the various companies within the group and seek cross company promotional opportunities where appropriate.

•Support off-line activities as directed by the Marketing Manager when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
•Experience in digitally marketing B2B and B2C organisations
•Knowledge of all digital marketing channels including project managing new websites and overseeing digital marketing agencies
•Experience in social media development
•Ability to manage several projects simultaneously across multiple brands
•Experience with overseeing PPC ad campaigns and continual SEO monitoring
•Ability to originate creative content from companies within the group and write channel appropriate copy
•Planning and execution of e-marketing campaigns
•Ability to identify new trends in digital marketing and evaluate new technologies
•Experience with organising video content
•Ability to track and analyse website traffic and provide monthly reports and recommendations for improvement
•An interest in the broad economic issues and business trends within the veterinary industry and the competitors in the market
•Experience of working within the animal health industry

Relevant Qualifications

Degree level or relevant profession qualification

Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing

Additional Criteria
•Highly organised and able to balance multiple tasks concurrently
•Knowledge of e-marketing software such as Mail Chimp or Pure360
•Working knowledge of web content management programmes and Google Analytics
•Experience of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
•Flexible working as role will include some travel within the UK
