What's it all about?
An experienced Sales Director is required to join a busy Hotel Management team within a 4 star hotel located in the beautiful County of Warwickshire. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, this role requires an experienced Sales Professional who has the ability to deliver budgeted sales for the hotel using proven strategies & marketing plans to achieve this.
Your role will be to develop and grow new business with a key focus on the Conference & Training markets predominantly in the Blue Chip sectors and large international clients. You will also engage with key Agencies and venue finders and organise a calendar of events for Familiarisation evenings and weekends. Monitoring of activity and conversion will play a key part of this to ensure the maximum revenue is obtained at every opportunity.
A marketing strategy is key for this role, you will need to be able to develop a robust plan that focuses on promotions across all mediums including digital and direct marketing.
You will also be expected to support the on-site sales team with rate negotiation and accompanying them on sales meetings above the 10 appointments you personally carry out each week.
You will have total autonomy of driving new business and managing existing clients to develop regular business.
Who will it suit?

The Ideal candidate will:
. have a minimum of 2 year's experience within an Senior Sales Management role working in a hotel environment with a focus on meetings, training's and event markets.
. have proven track record of strategic sales planning & delivery and experience of securing new accounts from the global marketplace
. be able to put together proposals for preferred deals through relevant channels
. Able to be flexible with your working hours to suit the needs of the business

In return for your hard work, the salary will be circa ?30,000 per year dependent upon experience, plus car allowance and excellent Staff discounts and benefits .
